Cooperative Project with the British Royal College of Art
Innovation workshop as one part of the “Re-mix” cooperative project will be held with the British Royal College of Art (RCA) which was recognized as the world top university in the field of art and design.
Last year in October, Kyushu University Graduate School of Design sent professors to London and held the first workshop. For the second workshop, Professor Sabina Tricy and Professor Yulia Ionescu from the Innovation Design Engineering Department will come to Ohashi Campus and have a 4-day workshop. This is a new trial to compare the innovation methods of Kyushu University and RCA through a continuous workshop.
In this workshop, we will work on the conversational design in a diverse society. From the perspective of inclusive design to search for the relationship of designers and users (design partners), and focus on the conversation in the design process. With these bases, we will challenge for the new communication tool and methods innovatively.
You can experience the inclusive design from Britain that solve social problems by having workshops and including variety of people and the innovation methods that works on the design thinking of innovating from the needs of people.

We are looking for the applicants of this work shop. Although we rare looking for people who can join the 4-day full workshop, please also apply if you can partly participate. Also, visitation is welcomed so please contact us.
